Hamm, Linda, age 60 of Wichita, KS, passed away on Saturday, June 27th, 2015 from hereditary heart disease. Linda was an Adjunct Professor of Psychology at Friends University and other local community colleges for 17 years. She was born in Wichita the daughter of Harry and Betty Conrad on August 28th, 1954. Linda and Johnny Hamm married on August 4th, 1973. They both grew up in Wichita and raised a family here before relocating to Ft. Worth, TX, from 1989-1995. Linda and the children returned to Wichita following Johnny’s death in 1993. Preceded in death by parents Harry A. Conrad and Betty L. Conrad; and husband Johnny L. Hamm. Survived by son Shawn A. Hamm of Wichita, daughter Stacey D. Hamm of Wichita, and son Jordan L. (Adrienne) Hamm of Dallas, TX.; grandchildren, Preston Giles of Mesquite, TX, Hayden and Emily Hamm of Plano, TX; great grandson, Walker of Mesquite, TX; and brother, Larry (Elaine) Conrad of Olathe, KS. Visitation with the family present, 5 – 7 p.m. Wednesday, Cochran Mortuary, 1411 N. Broadway. (Parking from Market St.) Service, 1 p.m. Thursday, St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 1356 N. Broadway.
