I got the notice today of your passing today, but I see that you are listed as leaving us last year. I'm so sorry I didn't know my old friend. Over the years it got longer and longer between our calls or our visits and thats a shame even though as in the song, mostly all we talked about was days gone by. But those days were good and the memories were happy, grade school, cub scouts, junior high, web's, high school, boy scouts. I read the email and saw your picture and got such a huge lump in my throat and tears in my eyes,,,,, Kim (CooK) asked what was wrong, it was moments before I could speak. Fifty years of memories came rushing into my mind, schools, camping, scout camps, Quivera, Bueivna Vista, I still honk from time to time when I drive by your parents house, esp when i see them outside,,,,,,,,, Bless you,
Loren and I spent fun time together growing up. As I remember he was discovery playing bass about the time I was discovering drums. Really enjoyed catching up with him at what I believe was the 10 year class reunion. I am saddened to hear of his passing and offer well wishes to his bride Marsha.
