On Friday September 30, 2022 we will be having an event at The Petroleum Club in downtown Wichita.
We will gather at 7:00 PM for dinner. We will have a chicken and a beef option for dinner. Water and iced tea will be served with dinner. There is a full bar outside the room where we will be meeting for people that want wine or other stronger drinks. This is a completely casual event. In the past The Petroleum Club had a dress code requiring a jacket. That is no longer required.
Saturday October 1, 2022 at 10:00 AM we will gather at the entrance to the Library as close to "under Butch" as we can get. We will have a guided tour of the building. Most likely it will be a cheerleader that leads our tour. No reservation is required and there will be others taking the tour with us.
On Saturday October 1, 2022 we will be having a come and go get together at the Local 135 Firefighters Union Hall. Come and spend time with classmates in a totally relaxed atmosphere. We have been able to use this facility free of charge because Marc Haynes is retired WFD. We are considering options for dinner. If we have enough participation Friday Night we should have enough money left to have a budget for dinner. If you would like to bring a beverage, feel free to do that. Any side dish or dessert would also be welcome. The Union Hall is centrally located in the north part of downtown. Nifty Nut House is just a block North.
Tim and Rena Whyte's son, Pastor Jason Whyte, is offering a worship service at 11:00 AM October 2, 2022. Cornerstone Christian Church is located at 5531 E 37th Street North.
