Sam was my very best friend at North. We ran away together to join a commune in Boulder Colorado but only made to Greensburg KS before we got into trouble. I lost touch with Sam when I went to serve in Viet Nam. Semper Fi my friend
Sam was my best friend in junior high but we grew apart in my sophmore year. He helped me learn to drive a stick shift on my Studebaker. We agonised over dating girls. We too got into some trouble in later years as did so many. I heard he was ill from his sister Becky but he was gone before I could go see him. How I wish I had kept in touch all these years. Thanks for the memories Sam.
